Aflas® (FEPM) Rubber O-Rings are manufactured from a unique copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and propylene. Unlike standard fluoroelastomers (FKM/Viton) which quickly degrade when exposed to strong bases, amines, or steam, Aflas® maintains complete mechanical integrity. Aflas® O-rings are specifically engineered for steam boilers, caustic clean-in-place (CIP) washdowns, and petroleum wells containing amine-based corrosion inhibitors.
